POSSO is committed to serving the diverse needs of our migrant neighbors, supporting them to overcome language, cultural, and financial barriers by serving as a bridge to resources and through direct services aimed at promoting health, well-being, and independence.

Our Goals
- Maintain and operate a multi-purpose community center to provide activities and services that further POSSO’s mission.
- Assist members of the community overcome social barriers in accessing the health and human services available to everyone.
- Enrich the lives of seniors by providing activities that relieve isolation, develop new interests and skills, promote self-esteem, camaraderie and integration into the community.
- Provide activities that preserve the heritage and traditions of Portuguese immigrants, promote cultural understanding, and enhance family life.
- Develop resources, leadership, and support for POSSO’s mission.
